Glade of the Galadhrim

Welcome to the Glade of the Galadhrim. I am your host, Tealosyn. That is a name given to me by the Silver Elves, and it means "Stirs to the Song".

The first thing you must understand is that there are many differents groups and types of Elves. Not all elves are of the exact same origin.

The main group I have studied most is the Elenari. Though I feel that I have some in common with them, I do not feel myself to be a part of this group. I feel more akin to an ancient nature spirit. My memories are mostly of this world when it was much simpler, more vibrant, and,well, much more alive than it is now.

To reflect this, I have chosen the name Galadhrim. It is a Tolkien word that means roughly "Tree-People". The Galadrhim inhabited Lothlorien, one of the last refuges of Elves. They lived in the trees and felt a deep kinship with them and with all living things.

This is a near perfect description of who I am. I have an uncanny affinity with most animals domestic and otherwise. I am only truly at home or at peace when among trees and animals. I have traditionally been a creature of solitude, but that is slowly changing as I open myself to the life around me.
